Madam Kwan's at Vivo City

Date of visit: 08.07.13

Super duper over-dued food post cos' I totally forgotten about it till I was deleting some photo albums in my PC :X

So here we were, greeted warmly at the entrance by friendly staffs.

The classy ambience was elegant and cozy.

Lovely note on the menu.

Fruit Rojak S$11.90
The sauce was pleasing and the fruits were fresh.

Curry Chicken (2pcs) S$8.00 + Steam rice S$1.80

Curry was thick and flavourful with mild spiciness, chicken was tender, yummy.

Hokkien Noodles S$14.90

Nasi Bojari S$18.90
The rice itself was a bit disappointing, it's dry and many grains were broken :(
No raves or complains for the accompanied dishes.

Cendol S$4.90
Generous coconut milk over crush ice was really enjoyable, cendol a bit too soft for my liking but we appreciate the soft and sweet red beans.

The restaurant's card are really cute with Madam Kwan's cartoonize portrait.

The overall experience was a pleasant one but the price wasn't too pocket friendly.  Plain water was charged at S$1.00 and a bowl of plain rice was S$1.80 T____T, you can't blame me for feeling heart pain and I can't blame them for covering the high overheads.
