Chinatown Food Street

*sponsored

Chinese New Year is around the corner.

Chinatown is undoubtedly the most crowded and vibrant place in Singapore during this period.

Walking among the crowd is quite a challenge, but we still love the charm here.

If you are in Chinatown, there's one place you need to visit -

CHINATOWN FOOD STREET
Smith Street, Chinatown, Singapore
Opening hours - 11am - 11pm daily
(extended hours from 30 Jan - 18 Feb to 2am)
Located at Smith Street in the heart of Chinatown, this food street is one of the best place to find a diverse spread of Singapore food.  Famous local dishes from various places are now "assembled" here.  You need not travel to the east for frog legs porridge then to the north for satay.

Alfresco dining with nostalgic shop houses along the two sides of the food was a delightful experience.
The newly constructed high-ceiling glass canopy shelter the place from rain and the internal spot cooling system is greatly appreciated in our humid weather.

Chinatown Food Street is lined with 24 hawker stalls in street carts.  You will be spoiled with choices!  Most of the dishes are priced S$2.50 - S$10.00, except for certain seafood and Yu Sheng.

Are you ready to drool?
