Noi Bai International Airport of Hanoi was very simple. It's one whole stretch - boarding gates at the left, cafes/restaurants retails on the right.
They accept both USD and Viet Dong. Food was extremely expensive here.
Coffee was over S$10, and this big bowl of beef pho was over S$25, we shared.
On board of Vietnam airlines.
My kid sis's habit was to stretch every dollar taking budget airlines most of the time, baby sis didn't care much. I am not a fan of budget airlines.
2 choices of food, I wasn't fussy anyway.
Touched down safely after 3.5hrs of flight.
Bought croissants.
We had lunch before parting.
Reached home and found myself locked out. Waited 2hrs for le son to return.
I will bring home keys wherever I am going now, period...
These were just part of the splurge, all worth it...
