Impromptu visit to Singapore Mandai Zoo

I need to go MIA for a while cos' we are going to BKK for a short trip ^^

Before I go off, I am gonna blog about a very nice local outing venue for those who are staying in Singapore this school holiday.  See? I go overseas still worried about the rest of you got nothing to do or no where to go.  Love me or not?  Heeheeeheee........  heck lah, I know you all won't reply me.

Anyways, am recommending the zoo for this holiday because.......................we are going to have new "immigrants" in our zoo......

2 pandas, Kai Kai and Jia Jia will be arriving 6 September 2012 at 8.15am!!

So, don't miss me while I'm away, go visit the pandas!  They are 1000X cuter than me lolxxx.......

The "story" begins with - one late morning, when hubby stepped into the house with brunch, I told him I have got nothing to do..... Let's go to the Zoo!  The 3 boys at home looked at me with their jaws dropped as I whisked them out of the house, waahaahaaa..........

There are 3 places in Singapore worth repeat visits - Universal Studio, Gardens By The Bay and our Zoo!  Yes, we have got one of the best Zoo in the world ^.^  and now, we got PANDAS!!!  But of course this post don't have pics of the pandas lah.

Despite of visiting the Zoo every once in a couple of years, there will bound to be something new waiting ahead.  Sharing here our virgin experiences ~~

Manatee Feeding

They have big round nose like pigs, but are very pricky, heehee.....

We were feeding them with potato and carrots.  Yum yum, I like potatos and carrots too!

Albino Peacocks

Was watching a performance when 2 white birds walked onto the stage.  I couldn't believe they were Albino peacocks.

Seriously.............. it's GORGEOUS!!   I am not sure how the trainers make the peacock "fan out".

Mini Fright

After this show we went for an elephant show, when this thing appeared infront of me, less than a feet away from my toes -____-|||  Luckily it moved towards the plants instead of my toes.

Encounter with Rodents

Very gross............. they looked raw and pink and......... just gross......

I even mananged to make a comic strip out of our Zoo trip, heeeheee......

Last but not least, my zoo outing's "protection" - sun block lotion and sun block oral capsule.
