Rainy morning. Wanted to skip this, but old man die die wanna come due to the hype on social media. So here we were at 魁星楼. Actually in Chongqing you will be able to see different levels almost everywhere, just that at 魁星楼 the difference is very great from ground to below 22nd level.
With this big quadrangle, no doubt we were on the ground floor.
But the small bridge across said other wise.
A building entrance right on the same quadrangle stated 22F, it was unbelievable haahaahaa...
There was a hospital nearby, I wished to walk in and get some medicine for my sore throat.
Saw a very big pharmacy, so bought medicine.
Next we hopped into the train heading to 李子坝.
It was a nice ride above the ground, over looking the city and river.
Number of no nos more than Singapore.
Faintz at the crowd, but 来都来了

Regret not buying some items from the souvenir shops, cos we couldn't find them elsewhere.
The amazing part was not only the train driving into the building. It was how silent and stable the building was.
Bought milk tea nearby.
Omg, it was soooooooo good!

Made a transit at another train station.
We landed ourselves in 新光里 mall which was 2km away from the main area of 观音桥 lolxx...
It's less crowded with lots of food options.
We had lunch for merely S$3+ in the food court.
We shared the big bowl.
We took a cab to the famous 观音桥, then head straight to Starlight Mall 星光68.
We waited for the mermaid show in vain which was cancelled without notice.
I was very excited over this area but spend too much time (over an 1 hour) looking for the Big Chilli, it was hiden away from view due to the pop-up stores around it.

“我在重庆” screen was crowded with people. There were numerous "photographers" along the road. They were not expensive but I wasn't too interested.
Nevertheless, had a selfie.
The map made us walked round and round. Old man started looking for the tall building besides it. It was tall enough for us to spot it from far, we walked towards the building and finally found this chilli fml.
Angry and tired.
We went into this building for dinner.
Recommend by 小红书 - 熬赞粥底火锅(观音桥).
We seriously had porridge hot pot for RMB168/2pax!! Was like S$32!
It was quite a sumptuous spread with meat and seafood (prawns were live).
Love Chongqing at night.
There's always space for dessert.

Choux pastry kiap with cream and pudding, it was a bomb!
I am quite a universal eater, I won't mind rabbit meat but rabbit head I just can't lolxx...
Old man bought tibits for colleagues and friends, bought a lot, enjoyed a lot.
We also bought a new carry-on suit case. Trying to get to the road was so tough with a few flights of staircase to conquer.
I think we took a yellow Ferrari back as it was difficult to pin a pick up location. Anyway yellow Ferraris were pretty trust worthy.
Back to our airbnb with million dollar night view.
We spend the whole night packing up, luggage was very very full with all the goodies we bought.
The only itinerary for the next day was to catch a morning flight. It's going to be a shorter post, hope to get it draft out soon!
