Vietnam Day 4 - Ba Na Hills

09/07/2023

Woke up at 4.30am to see sun rise.  And nope 5.21am would be too late.  We woke up yesterday at 5am, 天都亮了 (day light already).

Just nice!

Many people were already at the beach when we reached, why these people no need to sleep one arh??

Incredible, looked like sun set.

The salted egg yolk slowly peeped out of the sea.

With specific instructions, PapaVoo produced this pic.
Filtered to enhance the color.

5.30am ladies started dancing exercise.

Hotel's breakfast.
Ate a bit.

Guide came to pick us up at 7.30am.  We then had to take their shuttle bus to the foot of Ba Na Hills.  The guide helped us to buy the tix.  Also could be easily purchased through KLOOK.
The arrival area had welcome music and it felt as if we were at Disney.  Every column, every tile, every corner used high end building materials.
Even the toilet was pretty.

Everywhere was instagrammable.
With a lot of distractions, we took forever to get to the cable car.

The cable car station was very very far away, took us more than 15mins of walking in normal speed to get here.
Copy and paste information about Ba Na Hills Cable Cars:

  • The Bana hills cable car has the heaviest cable reel in the world, with 141.24 tons.
Scenery during our 20mins ride.
It was really beautiful up here, already awwwww.... before reaching the hill top.
Look at the resort!  Looked like a fairy land.
Could see more and more facilities were building.

Heehee... the first thing was to head to the main attraction - GOLDEN BRIDGE.

We were kinda "late", was insane crowded at 9am.
Stretching about 1500m long, 12.8m wide.  Relatively new, opened in June 2018.
It was more majestic than I saw on screens.
With the crowd, it was almost impossible to take a pic without human.

View from the bridge.
Could see my chest wet with perspire, haiz... summer vacation.
One and only "cleared traffic" pic.

It's dreamy when it's foggy although it didn't look nice on photo.

This place like Disney sia.

We started to look for the buffet lunch venue ourselves, any how chiong.
Along the way, we saw many tempting restaurant.

Found.
Queued more than 15mins just to get in although we already bought tix in advance (but everybody also bought their tix in advance).

Food I had, a bit of everything like our economical rice.
Average but filling enough.

The place was very big, noisy, messy with all kinds of tourists.  I prefer a more relaxing dinning ambience.
Lots of buffet counters, with vietnam, other asian cuisine and some simple western pasta and pizza.

Bo lang pic taken before we leave the place around 2pm.
Outside the buffet place, high ceiling with soaring birds.

More pics of Ba Na Hills.  There's an amusement park which we missed completely, not enough time.

Looked at the backrobe with moutains and clouds, super duper beautiful.

Found my friend.

Had ice-cream rolls.

Found a place to sit down for coffee.
View from the cafe.  We saw the white buddha, later took many turns to get to it, so near yet so far haahaa...
Took thousand and one photos.
Same place different angle.
Cable cars with roller coaster track below.

Morning glory clinged onto pine tree.

Golden bridge at the far end.

What's this giant yellow bell flower called?

Pretend to be in Europe.

Found a very big stick insect.  Wonder where are their organs.

Fairy land.

On the way back to the ground at around 4.30pm.
Walking back was tedious, cos tired already.

Went for foot massage but became thigh massage.  So I think the masseuses were better with body massage.
Nevertheless it was a very nice place with friendly service.

After massage had buffet BBQ dinner.  Was VND564,840 (S$35.40) for 2 pax. No complains for the food quality, but no wow factor.
They couldn't decide they wanted to be "Madam Vo" or "Madam Chu".

BBQ meat, prawns and garlic bread.

Side dish: stir fried mushroom.

Had soup.

Bibimbap was weird.

Son Tra Night Market near the Dragon Bridge's head.
Singapore's pasar malam is for the rich only.  We can only enjoy night markets in other countries.
Should had done foot massage here, it's only S$3 sia.

This shop selling hand painted "Non la" conical hat attracted crowd with male seller wearing female clothes singing and painting at the same time.

We bought drinks and sat at a distance to watch the Dragon head.
Dragon head sprayed water.

Then blew fire.
Water or fire, both was a waste of time lolxx... It was so crowded, so many people came to see the Dragon head during weekends for water and fire but it was so lame, we couldn't believe what happened and had a good laugh about the child's play.

Thanks for reading, stay tuned for our next day at Marble Hill.
