Hotel's breakfast, trying to take in as much veg as possible.
So far loving every "pee-stop".
We weren't big fans of chocolate but these were something not sold in Singapore, regretted not buying.
Bought this big bottle of mix peppers (that will probably last a life time) and truffle ravioli.
Island hopping in Venice.
I was so looking forward for self paying free & easy lunch. Our tour guide took us to 2 restaurants and vowed zero complains from previous customers.
Here we were, inside was full of locals and ang mo tourists.
We sat with another couple from our group.
The lady had salmon, she said was nice.
She order fries to share, it's butter soft and warm inside, so yummy.
I had seafood risotto, seafood was more than rice and very yummy.
Thank god for this self paid meal, else we would had mistaken Italian food being aweful.
Wipes saliva at my own photo.
PapaVoo's lobster linguine, holy gawd....
Tour mate's steak, he said was nice.
We shared this awesome pizza.
The tour guide gave us an hour for lunch, we ignored and enjoyed the meal at our own pace.
It was forever difficult to catch up with the group, I was always the last, glad that old man was with me.
Arrived at Saint Marks Square Venice. This time I clever already, walked away from "history lesson", call me rude, shallow tourist whatever, I don't care anymore, I just want to enjoy the way I want, WE PAID FOR IT!!
Thus we had the following photos with precious memories.
There was a lot to see in the area, I wished we had more time to soak up this beautiful place.
Just a few days before we came, we heard that here's flood, the platforms were still around.
I used to think China was the only country full of history. Italy was another divine level, their art and architecture was more than remarkable.
Surrounded by 360 degrees of magnificent historic buildings.
Bridge of sighs, haiz...
Hard Rock Cafe right in front but couldn't to get in, 世上最遥远的距离莫过于近在眼前,却碰不到...
Group by group, we hopped onto the gondola.
Love the experience...
Heehee...
Checked into Hilton Molino Stucky Venice, unfortunately it was only for one night.
Back in 1880s, this was one of the largest flour mill in Europe. With long story in between, this historical building was bought over, and in 2007 became a hotel.
The wood beams were preciously maintained and supported with cast iron pillars.
Gorgeous flour mill, gorgeous hotel.
Hall way to our room.
Took him forever to get this pic and he missed out all the pillars behind, urrggg...
Our room, Crabtree & Evelyn toilettries.
Not big but nice, love love love the ceiling.
Dinner in the hotel but we were so full from lunch lolxx... so ate a bit, then filled up with desserts.
Desserts.
More pics of the hotel on next post, yeah...
