Japan Day 21- back to Tokyo Shimokitazawa

 07/04/2023
Back to Tokyo

Haiz....

This was the S$65 3Days Hakone Pass, gone to the drain with the rain.

We waited for the shuttle bus at a shelter nearby, the driver didn't see us and drove off T___T
We walked downhill with the drizzle.
Rolling downhill.

I wrapped my head with my new Puma pants lolxx..

We went to the Tourist Center for the last time to check, no good, facilities were still closed.  We made a quick walk along the shops to grab some breakfast.
Found the tasty fish cakes.

Pancakes!!
If I wasn't wrong it's chestnut cream filling which was very special.  I'll come back for these.
So soft and fluffy.

I bought one curry bun here which was average, maybe cos it was so cold, could taste different if it's warm.

Last look at Sukumo River.

We left Hakone with a lot of regrets.
Topped up for direct train.

Back to Tokyo, at Shimokitazawa. This was one station away from Shinjuku.
It was drizzling.
Love this place away from the over crowded tourists area.

Mustard Hotel Shimokitazawa.
Looked so sleek and new.
Our main big luggage was couriered to the hotel with no hiccups.

Ang mo love crowding at the lounge area with coffee/drinks.
Vinyl records for free loan, unfortunately we somehow never took the advantage.

The room with bunk bed is S$112 per night for 2 pax. Everything was great, just a little far from the station (about 8mins walk).
Love the pyjamas very very much, was tempted to just steal it back lolxx...
Although looked like hospital's but the material was very comfy.

There's a small bar, patronized mostly by ang mo.
Beautiful details around the hotel.

There were many many many thrift shops here, selling both pre-love and new appareals.
Beauty of free&easy, seeing different places in Tokyo.

It continued to be rainy but no frustrations, we enjoyed it here.
Nice florist that never exist in Singapore.

Hat shop, most priced over S$50, so it's over my budget, could only buy at Shoppee liao.

Rainy day called Shabu hotpot.
We were their 1st batch of customers at 5pm, heehee...
They had a buffet counter of vegetables and condiments.
Lots of choices for beverages.
Enjoyable dinner completed with desserts.
Damage.

Too much time to kill after dinner, we swing over to Shinjuku which was only one train stop away.
It's kinda silly, but it was watching the 3D for the cat was a mission lolxx...
Tried to ignore the crowd.
Amused by mobile advertisement.

Saw this inside Shinjuku station, bought ice-cream and one big box of cookie while waiting for the kids.
It's double the price in Singapore.
Back to hotel was another laundry night.
