We had complimentary buffet breakfast in the hotel.
It was too crowded to be a relax breakfast but the spread was pretty decent.
We spend some time exploring the facilities of the hotel before heading out to Upside Down House which opens at 10am.  It was about 15 to 20mins walk from our hotel.

Upside Down House
Jalan Pm 7, Plaza Mahkota, 75000 Melaka, Malaysia
Mon - Thurs: 10am to 7pm
Fri - Sun/PH: 10am to 9pm
Adult ticket: RM22
Child/Senior Citizen: RM16
Tickets cheaper for Malaysians, adult RM16, child/senior citizen RM12.  They gave us X2 RM16 tix lolxxx.... sshhhhhhhhhhhhh....
For the price, we were not expecting much, but we had fun!

The house was everything it should be with a living room, bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen with upside down furniture!

The furniture were all mounted on the ceiling, we rotate all the photos we taken and pretended that we were spiderman and lizard woman lolxx...

Original picture:

The effect after rotating it:

The following photos are all rotated already, to see the original you rotate your screen lah lolxx....
I had to cropped away my lower body cos my fat tummy was over flowed exposed, my white blouse too short >.<

A pic of the overall dinning area.

We had to lie on the floor for these shots lolxx... So ladies, wearing skirts and low cut tops not too advisable unless you want to attract attention, heehee....

There were a few crews walking around, helping out visitors to take photos.  Love this colorful bedroom!

There were also a few sections of "outdoors".

We spend about an hour in Upside Down House before moving on to lunch at Nadeji Cafe which was less than 5mins walk away.

Nadeji Cafe
Mahkota Parade, 75000, 28, Jalan Merdeka, Taman Costa Mahkota, 75000 Melaka, Malaysia.

Fortunately there wasn't any queue.

The fridge display of their famous mille crepe cakes was right at the entrance.

Curry Udon RM14.80
Sigh.... it's actually not good at all, both the taste and portion, never mind......

They called the drink Lovers In Paris RM7.80

Black Berry Splash RM7.80

Rum & Raisin RM12.80

This was recommended by a friend.  The raisins had a taste of alcohol.  The multi layers of crepe was distinctive at each bite. The ones I had in Singapore just melt and "disappear" into the cream, so they tasted like a normal cake.  This, I knew I was eating a mille crepe cake!  Damn nice sia...

Melaka Slice RM12.60
Sweet with gula melaka.  Crazy yummy and I didn't care about getting fat any more at that point of time lolxx.... It was so good that I had to order another slice....

Royal Milk Tea RM12.60
Eating milk tea instead of drinking.  I am so going to miss their mille crepe cakes, come back no more le...... can cry.....

After lunch we went Mahkota Parade for last min shopping.  Coincidentally Parkson having sales, I shopped until drop, waahaahaaa.....

Mahkota Parade was like 5mins walk away from Hatten Hotel.  Timing was in good control, we came back packed up arrived 30mins earlier at 2.30pm at the waiting bay and the coach was already there.
We thought we were early but the coach was almost fully occupied already lolxx...  Need not wait till the dot, we actually set off earlier.

WTS coach was very comfortable.

We were at the front seats enjoying the driver's view.

Gloating at the jam of other lanes while the bus lane was rather smooth.

I am finally done with Melaka post, coming up next will be Hokkaido trip with my family in Dec ^__^
Eat until so old then visit Japan for the very first time de....  Excitement is exploding in me!  We will also be going on cruise after that, so basically half the Dec not in town.  By the time I settle down to blog about these will be in next year liao.

Thanks for reading my blog, hope you find it informative or at least enjoyable to scroll ;)

Halloween at Woodgrove 2017

Date of event: 31.10.2017

This is my third year celebrating Halloween at Woodgrove private estate in Woodlands.  It's still the best place in Singapore to feel the Halloween.

My kid sis as ghost bride and me as scare crow in 2015, click HERE to read more.

2016, my kid sis as some ran away zombie, my son as a Jap girl who loves horror movies and me as Chucky.

It was crazy fun, kinda regret that I didn't blog about 2016, I must had been very choked up with life and couldn't find time then.

We nearly missed it this year.   My father was hospitalized, everybody was burnt out.  By the time he was well again at home, we hardly had enough time to prepare.

I missed my kid sis who's working overseas now.  As you can see from the above photos, she was crazier than me and was always a spot in Halloween, always grabbed hold by strangers for photograph taking de....  Halloween goes on....., yet not quite the same without her....  I missed her a great deal....

After all the hard times, we made it to participate Woodgrove Halloween 2017.   It was as tiring and as amazing as it was, it's worth it.....

Hubby drove me around in snail speed to take photos of the decorations at around 3pm.  Woodgrove was still quiet without humans, I could take clear pictures with good natural lightings without anybody hindering.

Really appreciate all the house owners' creativity and effort.  I actually think HDB can also do up such decors.  Please scroll down to enjoy the Halloween displays:

Cobwebs and spiders...

More cobwebs and spiders...

Bats came sticking around cobwebs too.

I took a lot of pics for this unit, every piece of decor was cute.

Happy ghost.

Beheaded scarecrow, not scary one lolxx...

Neat haunted house.

Tri-pumpkins.

Colorful and cute.

A string of baby pumpkins.

Having a good rest on the pillar.

Who's that girl?

(Temporary) Haunted estate.

Caribbean feel.  The gates looked like a ship's head.

Ghost pirate.

This one very 气派.  They had "raining" lightings at night, super grand looking haunted house.  I have a blur pic of this house at night at the later part of this post.

This started to make noise when I walked close for a pic lolxx...

This was my sis's any how last minute decor.

Sweets for the little "monsters".

I didn't have time to prepare for costume, so I did a illusion makeup which I saw online.
Not perfect but good enough to make those who saw me dizzy.

Me guarding the gate.

Few pics of the early birds.

The crowd was awesome!

The neighbour was a witch lolxx...

Witch's son.  He told me he could still see.  He was like a statue when he stood still, then when he suddenly moved, it scared the shit out of visitors sia lolxx...

Witch's another son.  This kind of hugging Mummy costume only looks good on thin beings.  If I were to wear this, I'll looked like a bloated mummy accidentally soaked in river.

They were really good!
I took a short break "off duty" from sweets distribution and went roaming around to enjoy the atmosphere. Didn't take much pics for the night as I was almost batt flat.

Here, the grand haunted house which I mentioned earlier.  Lousy photo skills not doing it justice, it was really stunning in the night and the crowd was loving it.

Of course the crowd loves the generous owner distributing candy floss.

This was the good and scary one, photo credit le hubby.

WE WILL BE BACK IN 2018!
