Dubai center at 8.30am.
Bo lang (nobody).
We kinda walked pass actually to the main food court.
Coffee and omelette sandwich was really nice, but the fried fried stuff not our liking.
Waterfall looked very real with sound effect, it's amazing but not too good in photos.
The northern lights were crazy, we spend a lot of time here.
Money paid already worth it just for this.
Hope to make it to see the real thing soon.
Towards the end, we finally reached the Tea Bar.
Milk tea on the table with flowers moved when you moved the cups.
The phone camera got very confused and we didn't have good photos over here >.< but it was still a fun experience though milk tea's tasted was average.
The theme changed from Van Gogh to China paintings and we had the best view from the Tea Bar at the 2nd floor.
After China theme was some abstract fireworks.
Towards the end was a shop, not the usual souvenir shop. It had books and really nice merchandise which no doubt comes with high price tags.
Making our way back to our airbnb to check out. Last look at Dubai Mall.
Saying goodbye to majestic Burj Khalifa.
The heat.
Baby sis came to pick us up, we had brunch at Bushra Buddha Bar. We had kinda sparkling ribena as welcome drink.
Love at sight of beautiful cutleries.
Buffet menu.
My precious baby sis, she's 7 years my junior.
Dip sauce platter came with dry-ice lolxx... Food was quite nice, no complains.
Happy to see turkish bread here, we didn't eat this when we were in Turkiye somehow.
Beef sausages.
While it was too warm in summer, we went to their outdoor dinning area to take a look.
View of Dubai Marina was awesome.
The restaurant looked like a showroom lolxx...
For alcohol addicts.
Grills. Middle East countries are so good in doing grills.
Grilled prawns were super yummy, had another serve. It's actually a buffet but the first round they would serve everything which we were not given a choice to omit.
Music was loud but not our kind. Expresso martini was so strong.
Desserts were yummy, for once they weren't too sweet.
My best friend - fruits.
Dubai has the most beautiful washrooms in the world. I am serious.
After brunch, we popped by Mall of Emirates.
Elizabeth Arden was having promotion, cheaper than buying in Singapore, bought some with a friendly and aggressive beauty sales lady.
Went to see look Ski Dubai from outside.
Not a fan of artificial snow but was interesting to see.
And this was our last stop in Dubai.
On the way to airport, would miss this futuristic city.
Flying on a B777 Emirates so we rather not upgrade, saved the money and tahan in economy.
Flight and food wasn't too bad anyway.
We made it home after a short but amazing trip of 9 days.
While you are reading this, I am packing my luggage again. Not flying, so technically I kept my pledge of not flying for the rest of 2024. Will be taking a coach to KL heehee...
So the next post will be on Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, I have no idea how it's going to be like...
