4D3N Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - Day 2

 Date: 30/04/2022 (Sat)

We bought Batu Caves + French Village Bukit Tinggi + Japanese Village day tour with Klook for $126 (2pax).

Had breakfast in hotel before heading out.

Everything new and shiny.

Batu Caves

Vendors selling flower chains outside the caves.

Our group was only 3 young boys and us.  They didn't go up to the caves, neither did we, heard it was badly maintained monkey poos.

Some monkeys were around, they left me alone despite of my red bag.

People were seen playing with the pigeons, they didn't know about bird flu.

Vendors selling pray offering colored pastries.

More pigeons and "gold".

One set of offerings, I don't quite understand the religion (but I respect), amused to see milk is included.

Pond with lots of huge black carps.

Wanted to try but was too full from breakfast.

Almost bought the peacock feathers.

We spend about an hour and moved on to:
Colmar Tropicale, Berjaya Hills
It's not attractive to me.  The place is not big, if you walked from the entrance to the end without stopping, it's less than 5mins.  The place is kinda run down, I hope it gets better.  We managed to get some nice pics though.

Berjaya Hills Resort, opposite the french village.

Europe was still a dream while I was there, things just turned into favour within a few months.

Needed to take lunch here, there weren't much choices around and this was the best we could find.

Their best was still not pleasant enough...

The menu said poulet, but it's local fried chicken with rice.  Not too bad though.

Nice facade wall but he wasn't in a mood to take photos (he's never anyway lolxx...)

That's the end of the little village.

Threatened to rain but it didn't.

It was misty, I liked it, felt very dreamy.

We stayed about 2hrs, and next:

Japanese Village
Please do not come, not worth the car ride all the way up.  You probably enjoy your neighbourhood garden more.

The bit of sea clouds was the only thing and that was it honestly.

This forest.....

Tea house closed.

The small hut was a Japanese costume rental.

For peeps who missed Japan so much (at that time of point Japan's border was still closed).

Pic with run down hut.

Closed.

Bye and I will never be back.

We were done with the left section and none of us had faith with the right section lolxx...

There was a very huge, sturdy and fierce monkey lurking around the carpark.  It was trying the get things from the car.  Then it changed it's target to some young children and a few women, they were so frightened that they had a hard time getting back to their car.  We helped by driving around to block the monkey.

It was looking at us very very fiercely omg....

Lastly was a rabbit farm.  We left in 15mins, enough said.
They were just not ready for tourists at that point of time, not sure if things improved.

Back to KL city with massive traffic jam, we looked for dinner at Jalan Alor food street.  On the way we walked pass Pavillion Mall and were very excited about it.

This was recommended by old man's friend.

All good and cheap due to currency exchange rate.

Bamboo clams in wine.

Herbal frog's legs.

Sambal brinjal + long beans + petai beans+ ladies fingers oh yummy....

Black pepper crab
All looked messy but were delicious.

Bought guava for digestion.

Thai coconut ice-cream stall (it was very troublesome to go Thailand at that point of time).

Yeah, stomach stretched to the max liao.

Cannot liao...

Walked back with lots of distractions along the way, we bought one ton of China tibits in a shop, but no pics.

The next day very fun, we went Sky Mirror, I should be able to post up quick soon cos all photos already edited.  Thank you for staying around with me.
