Chiba, Diver City Odaiba
We wished that time could stop or go slower, 15 days gone by out of 26.
Darren and I had hotel breakfast before starting a day.
Walked pass tulip garden before reaching the train station. This day there were lots of doggies strolling.
So pretty... I missed it so much now...
It's a very warm day, I wore a thin long sleeve and a vest, later it was too warm and had to remove the vest, heehee...
I love Odaiba, pic with Tokyo Big Sight building behind.
Took us more than an hour to reach Kimitsu Station.
Walked pass a bakery shop in the station with miss spelled Peter lolxx...
Followed the sign and dashed to the bus stop.
Pic of the ulu station.
Pic of Kimitsu Station from the bus stop, apparently we had just checked in another prefecture - Chiba!
Other than the actual travel time, we often spend so much time waiting. This time was lucky, waited only 15 to 20mins. If missed the bus, it could be a 2hrs wait.
The bus to Chiba Mother Farm was so cute!
This trip was requested by my son sia, he loved animals.
It was a 30mins gentle ride up hill, no steep slopes, no sharp corners.
Mother Farm was a very weird name for us to accept lolxx... We bought entry tix from Klook, it was S$27.10 for 2 pax.
Cool weather with strong sun.
I knew the farm was big but didn't expect the view to be so beautiful up here. I really don't mind to stayover for a day just to stare at this scenery.
Overjoyed and I looked silly, haahaahaaa...
Need to pay for shuttle bus round the farm, so we gave it a miss.
Enormous rabbits, not sure if they could out run that tortise but they were staying together.
The wool sheeps going to get heat stroke sia.
What are these?
Nanny goat.
Capybara, didn't expect it to be so big. Darren turned into a small kid when he saw it and started to sing the Capybara song non-stop waahaahaahaa....
Cole flowers, plots and plots of them.
Can see the purple plots at far? We walked there also at the later part of the day.
They called this a AgroDome where they had animal shows.
We managed to catch one show just before it started.
It's conducted in Japanese, we didn't understand a word.
It's not a real stage, could actually see the farm animals from outside also.
After the show we had simple lunch from this truck.
Do you call these shoe string fries?
Chicken wrap, tasted ok but portion so small.
We sat on a bench under a tree watched children and dogs running around.
After eating we went into the AgroDome again for another show. This was more interesting!
I supposed this ang mo guy (spoke Japanese) were introducing the sheeps. The sheeps were tied so that they couldn't wander off, treats were fed to them so as to make them stay obedient on the stairs.
Then was the shaving of wool done swiftly within a few mins, wow... The sheep wasn't too comfortable but not abused.
My goodness lolxx...
Then they had a dog running about on the sheeps.
Walked around the farm area.
Went into the souvenir shop, bought only a bottle of milk.
Managed to resist the temptation of buying back one capybara plushie.
Found a backrope, heehee...
The entry tix included sheep food but I forgotten to redeem.
Fresh air and felt so refreshing.
What sign was this??
Alpaca which ignored us completely, the sign board was hilarious.
Little blue flowers not too obvious from here.
Here's the close-up.
Purple plots.
This farm was so beautiful, I wonder how is it in autumn for a re-visit.
Itchy mouth, bought grill hot dog and pork belly slap, S$10 gone.
Had tomato sauce and mustard to go with. Would be perfect if there's lettuce and rice to make it a complete meal.
Took 2hrs to come back to Odaiba. Pics taken outside Diver City.
The moment we saw the foodcourt, we just went in, trying to save a bit of money but I don't think we did a good job lolxx...
See what I ordered from this stall -

2000yen, portion was huge, could had shared with Darren but don't fancy seafood.
Wood bucket with topped with egg + clams + salmon + tuna + white fish (not sure name) + tobiko on rice.
748yen karaage, it's not bad but we couldn't get back the magical taste we had in Hiroshima.
1280yen Curry with cheese naan.
We had the MOST DELICIOUS NAAN ever.... not in India but in Japan!! The Indian chefs inside spoke fluent Japanese, we "died" lolxx... Indians can master any language they want sia. Seen so many who can speak mandarin and dialects.... and now Japanese.
Didn't buy anything as it was getting late, we decided to come back the next to do our serious shopping.
We were about to go home and chanced upon Gundam light up. Pity that the sound system was very soft, no sure if it's the norm.
Anyway, the light up was brilliant even though I am not a fan.
Here's the schedule if anyone is interested.
Besides the Gundam statue was a rainbow stairs.
Darren suggested that we might as well walk back since it not that far.
I was freaking exhausted after a day, but spending time with him without any distractions was priceless.
When was the last time you walked alone with your child?
I made a search online, these were called Towers Daiba, atas condo I supposed.
We had the bridge all to ourselves.
The next day, we had the whole day in Odaiba, love it to the max.
