We told the cab driver to drop us to a Mcdonald's near The Museum of The Future. However, we alighted and Mcdonald's was nowhere seen lolxx...
Walked pass the Emirates Towers Metro and found Wendy's.
We had a breakfast burger set to share cos I was saving stomach space for lunch.
Ugly but yummy chicken and egg burger.
AED21 (about S$7.50)
We then walked to The Museum Of The Future. Bought tix from KLOOK, was about S$56/pax.
We had no idea to the flying timings of the silver sky whale, it just flew out from nowhere while we were queuing to enter the actual exhibition.
We were so excited that we had to get out of the queue to take videos and photos.
Tailor made perfume which I almost bought.
The exhibition started with a guide that brought us into an imaginary spaceship.
Went to visit a station in the outer space.
Kinda like our Science Center lolxx...
This was fun with our faces on the screen as astronauts, but didn't manage to take clear photos.

Singapore's technology was far lag in comparison.
This section was all pink, I almost went crazy, waahaahaa... however a bit sad that the photos didn't turn out too well.
Dubai's high tech public washroom was as clean as Japan's.

Just when I was about to ask where was the outdoor, we found it!
We braved through the heat to take photos of the special exterior.

The Museum Of The Future took us 2.5hrs in a snail pace before we took the metro to Al Seef.
I didn't remember how much it was, it's about S$1 for a few stops.

Passed by Dubai Frame. I didn't understand why they build such a big frame for, heehee...
We alight at the nearest metro to Al Seel but it was too hot to walk over, totally no shelter. We hailed a cab along the road sia, reached within 5mins, agony solved with a bit of money.
Our first visit, very touristy but very nice.
People always say they don't want to visit places that's too touristy but they absolutely love Bangkok and Tokyo (the most touristy places on earth). A touristy place is a place for tourists to enjoy, with all the services, all the food, all the facilities that the locals can provide at it's best to make you comfortable (though sometimes it can be expensive).
It takes a lot of guts, a lot of rough travelling, a lot of knowledge (which most ppl don't have, including myself, I don't have enough) to travel to non-touristy places. Non-touristy places means: no tourist information counters, no help, no wifi in some cases, lack of accommodations, you may not find toilets, nobody speaks your language, no pretty little cafes, no proper roads. These would be NON-TOURISTY. How does it sounds??
Nothing wrong touristy places, I love them. Back to Al Seef, it's pretty with many photo spots.
Alighted from the cab, we walked to the right, the whole area was deserted and very quiet.
Apparently, we should had walked to the left direction waahaahaa...
We found a place for lunch and had the whole restaurant to ourselves.
The grill looked so good.
We had this grill and a avocado juice for about S$65, very reasonable, probably would cost more in Singapore.
This restaurant deserved more customers, I guessed the lack of business was due to the low season.
Everything was great, how come no customers?
They had outdoor seatings but was too hot in summer.
It had a very nice view of Dubai Creek.
Look of Dubai, modern and old.
Gotten this pink abaya from SHEIN, it was a good piece (though bought 1 size too big) around S$60.
Walked around after lunch, looking for the legendary Starbucks high and low.
Bo lang side of Al Seef.
The shelters made a great difference, lowering down the temperature so much.
Starbucks nowhere seen, asked and found that it's at the left side, ie. opposite direction of this water dispenser.
This was free at the entrance, no need to buy mineral water as long as you had an empty bottle to fill.
I bought this white cashmere shawl for about S$35. Almost bought the black too lolxx...
The sky was so blue.
We finally found out all the people were at the left area where Starbucks was.
STARBUCKS AL SEEF! Finally haahaahaa...

After the Hong Kong tour group left, the place was quiet again and I took more photos.
Muaahaahaahaa...
About 15 - 20mins cab drive back to town area.
Burj Khalifa from far meant we entered center of Dubai.
We were at least 1km away from the world's tallest building.
Into Dubai Mall again (cos easy to get home at night).
Bought Arabic perfume. They were oil based with no alcohol, very lasting. This Lotus Musk was fresh with a bit of musky fragrance, very unique.
I was soooooooooooooo happy!
Bought old man to see the huge food court with atas marble flooring, mega shiny flooring.
You would see lots of tourists and workers here, but no locals.
Moving on, the ice skating ring. This time they had a net to catch phones lolxx...
We were actually looking a massage parlour, seemed that Ying Yang in ChinaTown was the nearest, so we went to check out the price.
Not as cheap as JB but was affordable.
We had tea while waiting for a slot.
The room I had was bigger than my bedroom. Surprisingly the masseur was from China. She said it was very tough as she spoke very little English. Work hours were long, during off days she had nowhere to go...
After the massage section, I happily blur left my bracelet there and they had to whatsapp me to get it back lolxx...
Dinner at ChinaTown food court.
We shared a bowl of braised eggs/tofu/beef and a bowl of noodles. All delicious.
Bought tea named 零零茶 which meant "died" in cantonese, it's crazy lolxx...
Happy me.

Next day was our last day in Dubai. My baby sis drove all the way from Abu Dhabi to spend time with us, even drove us to the airport :~( Not sure when we will see each other again.
