My dad and kid sis stays in Ang Mo Kio, so we decided to spare ourselves from travelling and have a family gathering at

SukhoThai Kitchen ^^

It's a non-aircon eatery where authentic Thai dishes are prepared by a chef from Thailand.

Mango Salad (L) S$10.00

Definitely a familiar appetizer to Thai food lovers.  Topped with crushed peanuts for an extra punch, you will get that funny feeling of your saliva oozing out uncontrollably just at the sight of this Mango Salad.

Clear Tom Yam Soup with Seafood (L) S$10.00

Came with a warmer, clear Tom Yam is spicier than red soup base.  

Bountiful fresh seafood!

Olive Fried Rice S$5.00

Rice was soft, delectable without excessive oil.

Plain Omelette S$5.00

Ordered this simple dish for the kids, and it was nicely done.

Mix Veg (L) S$12.00

Stir fried assorted veg with garlic which we all liked.

Baked King Prawns with Glass Noodles (L) S$22.00

This special dish came in a serving pan.

The glass noodles were all soak with rich flavours from the prawns and there was a unique subtle sweetness in it.

The unique taste probably came from these baby garlics, it's unlike the garlic we normally used, I find these sweeter.  Really didn't expect such a delicious dish from a neighbourhood eatery.  MUST ORDER if you drop by!

Steam Seabass in Lemon Sauce S$22.00

The lemon sauce was a little too sourish for our liking but the price tag is attractive for such a big fish. 

Sukhothai Kitchen is a great alternative to our zhi char especially if you like Thai food.  Prices are reasonable, serving was fast, our overall experience was pleasant ^^

Established in 1992, Ramen Kagetsu Arashi is one of the largest ramen chain in Japan and they have more than 260 outlets worldwide.

Interior is bright and cheery in orange theme.

The soup base is slightly oily and being extremely picky, I would wish for "lava egg" with runny yolk instead of hard boiled ones.

When richness of gelato melts in my mouth, it seemed to melt away my stress too.  So glad that this 5 star standard ice-cream is just a stone throw away from me.  I can have it any time I want!  Yayness!

Created with layers of authentic Italian Pistachio cream, expresso coffee, skimmed milk and a dash of chocolate powder.  Contrasting yet compatible combination, mad love!  I am not a coffee drinker but this special blend of coffee just won my heart.
