Ayam Penyet Ria

Date of visit: 12.04.2014

Bedok Simpang or Simpang Bedok (not sure which is right) is one of the yummy and economical food hunt at the east area. Previously, blogged about Badoque which you may read about it HERE.

Ayam Penyet Ria, is another halal nom nom place newly opened not too long ago.

Interior is kept simple, jazz up with colorful cushion stools.

The menu is basically made up of different types deep fried fish or chicken with rice.

Avocado Juice S$4.50
I love this Indonesia drink like crazy!!  It's a thick blend of avocado with caramel.  It's rich but not too sweet, MUST ORDER!

Gourami Fish S$9.80
Looked impressive and reminds me of "Elephant fish" we had in Vietnam.

Comes with some fried tofu cubes, cucumber slices, a little bit of lettuce and last but not least their blacan chilli!!!
I ate up the head, fins almost the entire fish leaving it's spine :P~~  Their chilli alone was good enough with rice.  Needless to say, that big scope you are seeing here was not enough, we helped ourselves with more at the counter where they put one big tub there, heehee......

Ayam Penyet S$7.90
Big chicken thigh was flavourful and crispy on the outside, meat was juicy, finger licking good...

Nothing beats having a good meal after a long day of work.  If I can be more "chin cai" (easy/not picky) in food, I can save up more money though >.<
