SIN-DXB was only flight where old man wanted an upgrade, but it was full.  Biz class full, why so many rich people out there.  We had been living comfortably but in comparison to so many people out there we like paupers sia lolxx...
It's a pity that we missed biz on Emirates A380.
Taking off screens.
Snack after taking off, didn't really like it.

Beautiful cabin, but how to sleep sitting right up?

Couldn't sleep, so compensate with food.  Was it beef or chicken noodles looked messy but was delicious.

More photogenic omelette with dry chicken patties.

We made it to Dubai Airport at 4am after 7hrs.

Already did some online research for this Sleep N Fly.
It's located away from sight opposite the public washroom at level 2, behind a small retail shop.

In case you are having a long layover, here's their price chart.
It's not exactly cheap, so I am not sure if there are other better options out there.  I WILL NOT sleep in a public area of the airport, I know many people do, nothing wrong but I find it ..... (nothing nice to say so zip up).
We had a pod with bunk beds, there's charger, a clock and bin, very basic but good enough.

We saw other types of pod they offer.
Visually I gauged that this was smaller than standard queen bed, too small for 2 adults but good for an adult and a young child.

This was interesting for solo.  Like a first class flight cabin.  The chair could be laid down as a bed.

Woke up, meet up with baby sis (she came from Abu Dhabi to take the same flight with us) and it was time for the 2nd flight.  Fly until we scared.
Droopy boobs with sleeping bra.

Here we went again at 10am on Emirates A380 economy.

Bye Dubai for now, would be back real soon.

Flew over desserts.

Stew beef with mashed potatoes.

Briyani rice with curry chicken.

After the meal chocolate ice cream was distributed, that's the only flight out of we had it out of 4 legs.

It was forever...

Flew over Indian Ocean.

FINALLY MAURITIUS!

The massive plane needed 3 bridges to get everyone out lolxx...

First time to see Air Mauritius.

The airport made sure all tourist knew Casela Nature Park.
Sis in biz class got out of immigration in less than 20mins while we in the herd took about an hour plus.
We saw SIM card booths after picking up our luggage but were all crowded with people.   Too anxious to see our son, we passed the gate and there's no more shops selling SIM card.

My precious son sia T__T, if only I could keep him in my pocket...

The young man drove us in his small rented red car.  We had our reunion dinner in Wap Ala Pam.
Obviously for tourists for the price.

Nice ambience, warm service

Their wine fridge.

A very capable business mind behind this menu, not too many dishes but enough to chose from.

Cheers to our reunion.

Mango glazed wings RS420 (about S$12)

Calamari RS490 (about S$14).

Giant grilled prawns with some parts under cooked RS2400 (slit throat of S$70)

Black pepper beef with rice RS1090 (slit throat again S$32)

Overall delicious but expensive, Baby sis's treat.
Desserts.

We stepped out and the stars were amazing.
