Thor The Dark World

Remember not too long ago, Thor swept into our cinemas with his story of humility and strength, a story between realms and a heart-wrenching romance? That wasn’t the end of it.
Marvel’s "Thor: The Dark World" continues the big-screen adventures of Thor, the Mighty Avenger, as he battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself.

In the aftermath of “Marvel’s Thor" and "Marvel’s The Avengers," Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos...but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness.

Faced with an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor must embark on a journey that will reunite him with Jane Foster but force him to sacrifice everything, to save us all.

Malekith and his army of dark elves will stop at nothing to wreak havoc and to continue to seek vengeance. This ancient race has to be completed.

Join Thor as he embarks on this epic battle that tests his willpower. It will be his most personal and perilous one yet. Don’t miss it.
Marvel’s Thor: The Dark World continues the battle in Singapore cinemas on October 31, 2013.

Welcome to The Punch

*sponsored

Received this "Invitation Card" a few days ago ^^

Shaw Preview Theatre, with comfy leather seats, wooohooo.....

PRESS RELEASE:

Welcome To The Punch
拳力以赴

Release Date: 18 July 2013
Directed by: Eran Creevy
Starring: James McAvoy, Mark Strong, Andrea Riseborough
Genre: Action/ Adventure/ Crime
Rating: NC16 (Violence and Coarse Language)
Runtime: 99 minutes

WELCOME TO THE PUNCH is the second feature from Shifty writer-director Eran Creevy and producers Rory Aitken and Ben Pugh.  The film focuses on the relationship between detective Max Lewinsky and Ex-criminal Jacob Sternwood, focusing on the moment Jacob’s son is involved in a heist gone wrong, forcing him to return to London from his Icelandic hideaway.  This gives Max another chance to take down the man he’s always been after, a man who has humiliated and physically scarred him. With the two men set on an unremitting collision course, they come across a deeper conspiracy that they will both need to solve in order to survive.

Written and directed by BAFTA nominated Eran Creevy (Shifty), WELCOME TO THE PUNCH is a crime-thriller shot in and around the modern city-scapes of London including the banking centre of Canary Wharf and the city’s rejuvenated East End. The film stars James McAvoy (X-Men: First Class, Wanted, Atonement, The Last King Of Scotland), Mark Strong (Sherlock Holmes; Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy), and Andrea Riseborough (W.E.), along with Peter Mullan (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Tyrannosaur), David Morrissey (Nowhere Boy, The Other Boleyn Girl), Daniel Mays (Shifty) and Johnny Harris (The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus).

Between black and white, there's always grey.  But grey is a complicated zone at Welcome to The Punch.  Have to put on thinking caps and concentrate while watching else the whole movie is like a jig-saw puzzle which is difficult  to form a picture.

They are coming on 20 June 2013!!

This time you’ll meet even more friends of all shapes, colours and sizes from the monster world as we go back in time to their college days. In fact, we go back all the way to where it all began. If you ever wondered how Mike and Sulley first met, don’t miss Disney•Pixar’s “MONSTERS UNIVERSITY”!

Look forward to the thrills and diversity of university life in this movie, from prestigious academic programs offered by various faculties such as the School of Scaring, to the myriad of sports, clubs and societies.

Mike Wazowski’s (voice of Billy Crystal) lifelong dreams of becoming a Scarer are derailed during his first semester at Monsters University when he crosses paths with hotshot James P. Sullivan, “Sulley” (voice of John Goodman), and their out-of-control competitive spirit gets them both kicked out of the University’s elite Scare Program.

Here's Sulley and me!  Coincidently, I was dressed in the same color tone with this fury monster!

Disney's Oz The Great and Powerful

*contest

From the producer of "Alice in Wonderland", Disney presents "Oz the Great and Powerful" directed by Sam Raimi.
My little son Luis and I are big fans of Disney movies.
Watching Disney movies is like a short escape from reality and walked into world of fantasy.

Movie Synopsis

When Oscar Diggs (James Franco), a small-time circus magician with dubious ethics, is hurled away from dusty Kansas to the vibrant Land of Oz, he thinks he’s hit the jackpot—fame and fortune are his for the taking—that is until he meets three witches, Theodora (Mila Kunis), Evanora (Rachel Weisz) and Glinda (Michelle Williams), who are not convinced he is the great wizard everyone’s been expecting. Reluctantly drawn into the epic problems facing the Land of Oz and its inhabitants, Oscar must find out who is good and who is evil before it is too late. Putting his magical arts to use through illusion, ingenuity—and even a bit of wizardry—Oscar transforms himself not only into the great and powerful wizard but into a better man as well. “Oz The Great and Powerful” is produced by Joe Roth, with a screenplay by Mitchell Kapner and David Lindsay-Abaire (credit not final). Grant Curtis, Palak Patel, Philip Steuer and Josh Donen are serving as executive producers.

Brave little China Girl made of porcelain and Finley the monkey with wings!

Cast:

James Franco as Oz

Michelle Williams as Glinda

Rachel Weisz as Evanora & Mila Kunis as Theodora

Trailer
Had viewed the trailer in the cinema, Luis and I were totally excited about it.

Already gave my promise to him that we'll watch this movie, irregardless of winning the tickets from Nuffnang or not.
