Packed breakfast and checked out of Ubud. Supposed to reach the photoshoot venue at 8am, was half an hour late, it was a mad rush, not a morning person, ever lolxx...
Found Sampik Costume online, although the address was in Ubud, it was actually near Kuta. Costume + make-up + hair-do + 1.5hrs photography = USD98 (which was as good as USD100, just keep the change, they wouldn't have USD2 for you anyways...).
They somehow didn't have proper changing room (my only complain), so it's very important to wear a bra top/tube top/spaghetti stripe and yoga shorts/whatever shorts that allows you to wear into their costumes in their open changing area without doors. They had a huge variety to chose from.
The head gear wasn't heavy, just pricky on my ears.
The eye make-up wasn't bold enough, nevertheless the photos turned out very well, they gave me some videos too.
I edited lots of bulging fats away.
Despite of being short + fat + old, I had done quite a few photoshoots, thankful to myself.
Worth the splurge, what do you think? Would you spend on a costume photoshoot or rather spend the money somewhere else.
The photographer asked why was I so good at poses, I said I had done a few costume photoshoots heehee...
After the tiring photoshoot was about 30mins on the road to my final accommodation:
Harris Hotel Kuta Tuban Bali. It's about S$150/3 nights without breakfast. The best thing was it's near airport with FREE shuttle bus!
I had an awesome room on the ground floor.
This was my first hotel which provided bolsters lolxx...Couldn't find fault for the price and excellent location.
The long orange table was very useful.
Open wardrobe was awesome to hang my 3 days outfits.
The washroom was spacious enough.
Maybe the only complain would be the lightings were very dim. Other than that, it's value for money, will recommend this hotel for budget travelers without having to sacrifice comfort.
Woke up too early in the morning and was feeling heavy on the head. I spend the entire noon rotting at the pool side.
I had removed the falsies, then kept on 50% of the makeup.
At the point of time when I am doing this post, my blonde color hair is already replaced by ash green. Glad to have these photos to keep my golden glory...
The avocado coffee was so good that I had it everyday after this first glass.
Had club sandwich for lunch.
I struggled and finally managed to pull my ass out at about 4pm lolxx... Glad that I did!
On the way to Pantai Batu Barak on bike. The vibe on the road was great.
Actually 肉包铁 bike ride is not safe, but saved a lot of money, I really had burst my budget, so much so that it spiked a quarrel and I'm ending my marriage (but no regrets).
The bike driver dropped me for a few minutes to take pics of this crazy beautiful view.
He even helped me with photos.
When I was doing my research at the beginning of the year, visiting the cliff was free, but now they stopped vehicles from entering the photo spot and charged RP30,000 for the shuttle buggy ride (2-way). One could chose to walk up, but I prefer to conserve my energy.
They gave a bottle of mineral bottle, I left it at a corner when taking photos, then somebody stole it.
Weeeeeeeeee... what a cool sight! 2 cliffs along the narrow road.
The sea view was gorgeous too, so in love with Bali...
GORGEOUS!!!
Took the shuttle buggy back to the shore.
Finally found the easiest way down to the beach area.
The beach was so beautiful with natural rock planks, the waves were blocked by sand banks.
It was my first time seeing such landscape, not the usual beach with sand.
The place was so beautiful, so am I!!
Had a mini heart attack when one foot sank deeper than expected.
It was so cool to find small fish and crabs in the puddles.
It was so fun but I wonder why I didn't take any pic of the tiny sea creatures.
I grinned until like that sia lolxx... I remembered I was really so happy.
笑到傻婆一样。
Big butt in pink here haahaahaa...
Approaching sunset.
The sky...
The sunset was so beautiful that I was going to cry.
Back to the hotel by cab, had dinner in the hotel.
RP203,250 for a pineapple mojito and a satisfying seabass steak.
Day 12 was another amazing day at GWK Culture Park, Kuta Beach and Beachwalk Mall.
Bali is such a wonderful destination, it's touristy in various best ways. Documenting my experience is such a pick up.
