Working at NEX is not exactly pleasant with a boastful big bully at the counter. The company knows it, but won't sack her. Wonder why ALL working place MUST HAVE one or few employees like this... Anyway, she will bite her own chilli one day...
Back to NEX, this shopping mall is not bad a place for shopping and dinning. Hubby would join me for dinner at NEX after work before we head home.
Among the many restaurants, Tai Lei Loi Kei 大利来记 is our favorite ^.^

The BBQ wings were tender and juicy, a simple inexpensive 荷包蛋 never fails to perk up a bowl, or a burger. I loveeeee eggs, all eggs, any and every thing with eggs!
Curry Fish Balls with Ice Lemon Tea (or other drinks) S$4.00
Their Saw Dust Cake are yummy too! Just that it's not really a cake, it's more like ice-cream. All flavors are good, depending on your preference.

Don't be fool by the color, it's not spicy at all. It's like jap curry, sweet actually.
Supreme Burger S$4.90
(Soft bread bun + luncheon meat + egg + ham + cheese)
You can have the choice of soft bread buns or polo buns and chose your own fillings (minmium 2 fillings). The supreme burger that you see above has got ALL! My kids don't like luncheon meat, so we often buy Deluxe Burger for them with 3 fillings at S$4.50.
Here's our typical "ta bao" supper, whenever I knocked off at 10pm.
Had tried their signature Macau Pork Chop Bun, find the pork chop a bit dry though quite flavorful. Still very much prefer their breakfast burger :P

Food quality is pretty good and very affordable. No GST and service charge is the best and most attractive offer a food retail can give us!
Here's their simple menu. Basically it's rice, noodles and buns to go with pork chop, chicken wings or curry fish balls.
Check it out if you are at NEX, it's opposite Food Republic, next to an escalator ;)
