Day 9 Bern, Switzerland

04/12/2022

Breakfast.

We opened up a cup noodle and had everybody looking at our direction lolxx...

Heehee... but didn't feel cold.

Climbed out of our window.

Thrilled, 屋顶。

Everybody bought Gucci and LV, I could only afford Fila, heehee...

This was my first beanie, pink with a giant fluff ball, both bought in Lucerne the day before.

Pic with Anderene Choo, she was so nice de...

Bern was very different, we saw lots of buildings resembling HDB flats!!

Zytglogge Clock Tower, see look outside and around the area, never went in.
The history went as far as 1800s, very complicating with fire, restructuring so on.
It's an important icon of Bern, ie. if you never been here, you never been to Bern.

Little tram.

Bern old town with basement at almost every shop along the way, I was too lazy to walk in.

This was another one, with it's doors on the floor closed, so interesting.

We had plenty of time here, took lots of photos in this beautiful old town.

It was said that Einstein stayed on the second floor for 3 years.

Bought coffee and ice cream here.

A couple of drinking water fountains along the way.

Had lunch at one of the cafe at the far end.  Found a family of birds in a potted plant, so cute and chubby, none flew away even when I got very close.

Unknown soup.

Risotto with unknown.

Fruits from a can, my goodness...

The group members sang me birthday songs, gotten a slice of pie with candle, thank you, hur hur...

Moving on, went to the Bear Pit but didn't see any bears.

Didn't find our names either haahaahaa...

Took a pic with "Einstein", but behind was the high-light.

Not a real bear up there.

Within walking distant was Bern Minster Christmas Market.

Lots of handmade crafts.

Beer or coffee here.

Coffee, heehee...

Candles.

Along Xmas market over looking a river with Kirchenfeldbrucke
 train bridge across.

The Cathedral of Bern in the same area.
I was holding that cup of coffee till eternal lolxx...

Dinner.

Looked impressive until the main was served hur hur...

Starter was some crab meat in cream.
They steamed or boiled the fish, the sauce was horrible, why couldn't they just salt and pepper it and stash it into the oven, done and would be delicious, even a 3yo could do, urrrgg.... it's very frustrating when fish fillet could go so wrong.

Creme Brulee was good but still couldn't undo the awful main.

Coughed and coughed for a few days, test myself else the whole bus would be so fearful of me lolxx...
Bo pi, bo dai ji.

Unknowingly reached Dijon France, Mercure Hotel.

Modern hotel lobby.

Small but decent room.
Stay for a night before moving to Serris and Paris the next day.
