Day 11 France, Paris

 06/12/2022

Breakfast, we brought 2 cup noodles, ate one, now had to finish off this one, too troublesome to bring back.

My eyes were too red and dry for contact lens.  Wearing new red sweater bought the day before, it's around SGD15 nia.

On the bus ride, saw unglam side of Paris.  There were slums under the bridge, jobless and homeless people plenty.

Tourist hop on bus.

Around Louvre Museum.
See look only.  This tour, though cost us a fortune but didn't include any entrance to any attractions (unless it's FOC).  I need to come back to Louvre Museum.  Only been to the mini one in Abu Dhabi.  It's such a regret to stop at the entrance...

Saw a Mcdonald's with bling rain lights, even Mcdonald's looked romantic here.

Misty day in Paris, could only see half of Eiffel Tower.

Weather not too good but the Seine River cruise was arranged.

There were many different cruises, that wasn't the best I guessed.  Free seatings throughout.

Nice deck, but it was rainy, couldn't stay too long.

Took some pics while at the deck.

After the cruise, we had the quickest visit to another site.
Took a small cable tram up to see Basilica du Sacre-Coeur de Montmartre.

The small trams up was about 3mins only.

Cafes in France really looked romantic.

Beautiful Basilica which we didn't get a closer look, so much regrets thanks to EU Travels.

Awesome view but we were running after the guide.  Total duration less than half an hour.

Lunch at chinese restaurant.

All good and nice dishes, ate until very full.

After lunch, Champs Elysees, so familiar yet so strange after seeing it numerous times on screen.
Finally seeing this famous building in real life!

People queueing for a hot spot to take photo.

What I did was to stand in front to block the queue of people out of sight and took this pic, not too bad right?

This was Paris in Dec.

Human watching seats outside a cafe.

Surprised to find Demon Slayer here.

Bought a Nezuko t-shirt.

Then bought cough mixture, some Kusmi tea bags and Marvis toothpaste lolxx..

Lots of honks from ambulance and police cars, not sure what happened or was it a norm??

The sky finally cleared up in the evening revealing the whole of Eiffel Tower.
Here, we were being circled by a group of youngsters.  I presumed they were looking for my handbag but it was under my jacket.  I asked PapaVoo to walk away, they didn't block us else I would resort to violence.

We walked else where, very alert if anybody came near.

Light up like that only, was waiting for it to bling but it didn't.

We had an hour here which was more than enough.

There were a few of them simply had souvenirs displayed on the floor for sale, didn't buy any.

Dinner.

Chez Edouard Restaurant.

They were serving seafood and meat, having a hard time to decide red or white wine.  I couldn't take both, had red at the end.

Miserable, small size, small portion.
What I had at home was double the size.

The Malaysians shook heads at the cold dish and escargot.

Tour mate's salmon.

PapaVoo's steak.

My duck confit, all not bad.

Apple pie.

Old man and my energy was low by now hur hur...
