Back from Chongqing! Having a bad flu, worked a couple of days, was difficult to find time, now finally pinned myself to finish up Sydney post. Memories were still fresh, I remembered the cool air I inhaled, the heart-ache that never left, the blue sky that consoled.
Booked a S$143 Blue Mountains Tour with KLOOK. Had a mini bus of about 20pax from all from Philippines (they were fun and full of laughter, lovely people, lucky to have them as a group).
I sat beside the driver enjoying the road view throughout.
It was freaking cold with strong wind.
The guide gave us 10mins, we spend 30mins anyway.
Moved on taking away ham and cheese sandwich.
The blue sky was so beautiful...Finally at our first Echo Point to view The Three Sisters Mountain.
After a couple of photos (to prove that I was here), enjoyed munching on the sandwich with mountain view, it was so relaxing.
Cable car ride up the mountains.
Everybody was excited with the view and glass floor while I lepak one side.
After going up, was coming down again with the steepest rail in the world.
My tour mates occupied the entire cabin and we were screaming all the way lolxx...
Nope, didn't see any, please don't make me jealous.
Another cable car ride to leave the mountains.
I could only see heads.
Unavoidable souvenir shop before leaving.
Back on the bus and during the journey we saw a wild Lyrebird.
It's just a huge vast land, nothing in particular.
We had lunch (at our own expense, not included in tour) in Glenbrook, a small town near Blue Mountains.
I had a salmon bowl and a big bowl of pumpkin soup.
There must be a warmer near me, felt warm and cozy.
After lunch was a 2hrs visit to the Sydney Zoo.
We got to feed the kangaroos a bit.
Tasmanian Devil is very small in reality, size of a cat, then it was very hideous looking (oops... sorry).
Gone were the days of carrying/hugging a koala (the government do not allow any more), just a glance of them from far. Would cost around S$50 to take a picture standing beside one, so... nope.
The most enjoyable part would the reptile section, all were active moving around.
Little lobsters so blue, can be eaten or not?
Saw Capybara, SO CUTE!!!
Bo chap tiger.
Back to Circular Quay, I was very tired after a long day, it was my last chance to catch sunset, but again the colors didn't turn up the way I saw on other's social media.
It was such a bustling city, yet the homeless could be seen everywhere especially in train stations.
It was a huge vast area... which I wasn't really impressed.
It was like that nia.Everybody was excited with the view and glass floor while I lepak one side.
Then I dropped off from my seat and banged my shin. It was so bad that I took panadol, took a couple of weeks for the swell to subside.
The photo looked so mild but I was in real great pain.
After the steep rail was far view of The Three Sisters.
Short walk within the Blue Mountains.
Coal carrier.
Katoomba Coal Mine 1878.
Another cable car ride to leave the mountains.
I could only see heads.
It was so pretty.
About 15mins bus ride or so, we were at Cahill's Lookout.
Instead of facing the view, I found beauty on the pathway lined with bushes, got feel liao...
A tour member helped me with the photos, it was my pleasure to take pictures for them too. The whole place was filled with their laughter. Philippines people are just so fun to be with. I feel that I only have aura when I am overseas, especially solo trips.
The Philippine mates, brought their own food and they had picnic in the garden.
I wondered around looking for food.
Restaurant simply named 2773, so weird de. This was it anyway.
There must be a warmer near me, felt warm and cozy.
The meal wasn't cheap, around S$30, paid cash, forgotten the actual price.
The frogs were thumb size, super tiny.
Love their bo chap face, the kind of face I would like to show to every god damn body.
Not that I had never seen monkeys before, these were so active running about, fighting and playing, I actually spend some time here.
Gloomy afternoon it was.
Super bo chap leopards.
Not sure what they were trying to do.
There was nothing to wow about, but looking back, I am glad I was here.Pic of our neat looking small white bus.
It was a 2hrs ride back to the city area. The bus dropped us at Olympic Park ferry where we had a ferry ride back to Circular Quay.
Snailed back by train, bought mineral water at supermarket, then crushed to bed at 9pm, I was so tired that day.
The tomatoes were cute, so I took a photo.
Next day was a evening, my last day to enjoy Sydney which I placed myself at Bondi Beach.
