Date of visit: 11.02.2015
Got up at 5.30am -____-|||
I was so sleepy and hungry at the same time lolxx.....
But it's totally worth it! We were invited to board RSS Endurance, one of Singapore Navy's landing platform dock ship.
I literally zombie my way to Changi Naval Base but when I saw these two ships, I wanted to scream in joy!
Left - MV Swift Rescue
Right - RSS Endurance 207
MV Swift Rescue, she just returned from Java Sea, supporting the multinational search of downed AirAsia flight QZ8501.
It is different from knowing it from the screens. Seeing this rescue tank ship right before my eyes stir up emotions all over again. Couldn't help to feel sad for this unfortunate crash but at the same time, was proud that MV Swift Rescue with our SAF men had done all they could to retrieve aircraft debris, personal belongings and a body.

We were boarding onto this military ship and,.....
WE ARE SAILING OVER TO VIVO PROMENADE ON RSS Endurance!!!!
Jealous!!? Envy!!? Yes by all means!
Indeed, this was such an honour and a very rare opportunity. I treasured every second on board.
This sexy girl with 1000 mega watt smile and cool sunnies is Michelle.
Owe her a BIG THANK YOU for bringing me along ^.^
Super Puma was on board too, omg....
Everybody, including Navy men were to wear a life vest when we were on the deck.
Here's me, grinning from left to right and right to left, heeheehee....
HAPPY and EXCITED to the max!

RSS Endurance sailing off Changi Naval Base to Vivo Promenade. It was very windy!
Another major eye-opening for me, was a tour to the Bridge.
Not that kind of bridge we cross over the road or river hor. It is a "command room" where the speed, direction and other important functions of the entire ship is being controlled.
As the ship was sailing, the Bridge was busy, we had to be silent and touching of anything was forbidden.
I felt as if I walked into a movie. Everything from the ceiling to the floor was very unreal.
Outside the room....
Next, we moved down to the bottom deck.
The stairs were steep and the flights were narrow, I was holding on to the side rails as I walked down, so couldn't take any photos.
2 Fast Craft Utility (FCU)
And that I was always the last one in the group (in whatever, any and every excursion/travel group, every single time) >.<
Back to the open deck, just in time for spectacular views.
RSS Endurance reached Vivo Promenade.
It was an awesome and unforgettable experience on RSS Endurance, one of the largest Navy ship of Singapore.
THANK YOU 191 Squadron for having us on RSS Endurance.
THANK YOU for keeping Singapore's waters safe for the past 50 years ^.^
