Pet Asia and Aquarama 2015

Date of visit: 31.05.2015

Myself don't own any pets so I can only show-off my sis's.
Her name is Mimi.  She's an arrogant girl with baby pink color paw pads ^.^

It's not easy to have a pet, you need cash, you'll need time, patience, plenty of love and most importantly, responsibility.

I could had successfully robbed tugged a bunny home if my hubby wasn't there to stop me lolxx..

Pet Asia and Aquarama 2015 was held at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre 29 - 31 May.  There were booths with merchandise as well as pets competitions.

Pet Asia exhibition attracted lots of pets lovers.

Various booths selling food and products for dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and chinchillas.

Kit Cat booth with lots of cat food but not sure if Mimi likes them, she very picky one >.<

Gotten food sample for Mimi to try.

Carrying this 6 months old Flemish giant bunny was enough to make my trip worth it!
She's huge but you may be surprised that she is not fully grown yet!

This gigantic fluff ball has got a bo chap attitude, very tame and soooooooo huggable!  That feel of wanting to squish her and wanting to protect her is contradicting, it's mad love I tell you.  I was very tempted to just carry her like this, walk straight to the exit, and bring her home!
She's probably in a sleepy mode, but still crazy cute......  How can you be so cute, my gawd......

Another Flemish Giant which I didn't carry cos' it seemed more active.  If it hopped out of my arms then me and everybody will be in trouble lolxx...

Eyeliner Rabbit, normal size but it has got perfect natural eyeliners lolxx...

BE WARNED - more bunny pics

I am a layman, all bunnies looks cute and perfect to me!

These are dwarf rabbits, these tiny fur balls can be fully held within your palm.

Normal size bunny chilling here...

This droopy ear looks as if it has got moustach...

How to deal with this innocent look....

Why are your cheeks so fat.....

Bad hair day babe?  lolxx....  Such a cute fur ball!

First time in life that I was surrounded by so many bunnies, I nearly died from overdose of fluffy cuteness, heehee...

If you are already sweep off in awe, here's more fur cuties to topple you..

Babies taking their nap.

For dog lovers...

Kiddo attracted by the colorful socks.

Ah boy must be disappointed that the socks aren't for children, they are for doggies and here's the ambassador ;)
Looks like a cotton ball, heehee...

Couldn't bear to leave Pet Asia, but we had to move up to Aquarama.

Aquarama was filled with beauty......

Sea water aquariums....

Nemo!  After so many years, we still remembered Nemo the clown fish  ^.^

Our first encounter with - Crystal Bee Shrimps.
These super mini shrimps are around 1cm in length when fully grown.  They takes 6 months to grow into adults and have a life span of about 15 months.

Let me bring you closer..

The price of the shrimp is determined by the spices and color, ranges from S$0.80 to a few thousand dollars each!

Closest!

The exhausting fun begins here!  The tanks show case competition fishes!

Flowerhorn fish (罗汉鱼)
Many years back, there was a craze over this fish and they could cost a few thousand dollars each!

Ancient hair style inspired by it, perhaps, lolxx...

It turned to my camera and looked as if it's saying "Yo!  What's up!"

Fighting fish Guppies, they are small, difficult to capture into the lens for me.

Nevertheless, here's some shots, please pardon me that they aren't too sharp.

Big fan fins with a kiss me look.

Fins like skirt, a super flare skirt.

Dragon fish (金龙鱼), expensive.  I know they feeds on crickets, very small frogs, and some people told me, cockroaches as well >.<

I once heard a true story of this wife who cooked her husband's thousand dollars fish lolxx...

What happened was, this man bought home an expensive dragon fish and put it at the kitchen sink.  He told his wife he would be right back and stepped out of the house again.  The wife was delighted to see a huge live fish, steam it of course!  When the man was finally home, he looked in the sink, under the sink, everywhere in the kitchen for his beloved pet.  That's when the wife told him it's cooked on the dinning table.  The wife gotten a hard tight slap.

Moral of the story - Ignorance is not a bliss for women.
And for the man, it's a high price to pay for being not bothered to communicate with his wife.

Back to Dragon fish, they can be eaten but most are being kept as pets to admire their pearl-like luminous scales.

Rare albino dragon fish with my hubby, son Darren and myself in the reflection, heehee..

Moving on, gold fish, fat ones, seriously and most of them are larger than a palm.

Look so emo...

You need to go on diet if you aren't pregnant...

That blur look... lolxx....

Ballooned eyes with inverted U shaped mouth cartoon look, sooooo crazy cute!  We went crazy also talking to it though we weren't sure if it can hear us lolxx....

Hi there, is your head gear heavy?

I think this is atas, platinum gold in color leh...

When crab roe is on your head...

This Oreo babe here won the 1st prize in one of the contest, don't play play...

Fish watching is enjoyable and really relaxing....

So much for the fat ones, now the thin ones - Discus fish.
They don't really move in nature, they stay quite motionless, amazing laze, haahaa...

Your mouth is so tiny, how you eat wor??

Fine prints....

Large prints...

No prints on bodieeee...

Biscuit thin you.....

Here's the champion.

By the time we were done, my arms ached like mad from all the photo taking.  It was fun especially when we had Michelle with us, felt like a family outing!

Hope to visit again next year, meanwhile more information at the following web-sites -
