8 Degrees Taiwanese Bistro

Aims to cover the stretch of eateries at Teck Chye Terrace.

Had tried the economical porridge.
Crowd was drawn by simple home cooked food and the low price, nothing special to blog about.

Blogged about King's Laksa Steamboat, review HERE.

Here's another visit to this lane with lots of hungry people.
Any later than 5.30pm, the entire lane would be occupied by cars.

8 Degrees Taiwanese Bistro is the first shop at the lane.

The shop front with glass panel and you can see almost all tables were taken.

No extravagant interior and number of tables are limited due to the small area.

Menu which looks like an old book.

Besides menu, photos of my idol Jay Chou are inside ^^

8 Degrees bubble tea S$3.80

Fried Intestine S$6.80
Over fried and were very dry :(  For the first time we were grateful that the portion was small.

Fried Oyster Omelette S$7.80

Besides oysters, there were bean sprouts inside the omelette too.

XO sauce Wok Fried Chee Cheong Fun S$7.80
Salt overdosed T_____T

Plain mee sua S$3.80
Mee sua with flavourful soup base, didn't order Oyster mee sua since we already had Oyster omelette.

8 Degrees Snow Ice S$7.80

If I ever visit this place again, it's going to be this dessert's credit.
The mild sweetness of the milk flavour snow ice was really yummy, I felt like baby craving for milk.
Assorted fresh fruits of strawberries, kiwi and mango gave the snow ice a colorful presentation and soothing to one's throat after a meal.

Other than the Snow Ice, the rest of the dishes we tried were either normal or below average.
Not sure if it was our sheer luck, or that's their kitchen's usual standard.
If it's the later, it's gonna be another example of "Crowded doesn't mean good"  :X

As usual will end this review with their address:
