Image from https://www.facebook.com/CPSingapore

When I received the invitation to CP for Bloggers' Party, BIG FAT JUICY Whole Prawn CP Wantons flooded my entire brain.  Good food never fails to seduce me..... I was singing to myself "Wonton oh wonton,  我爱你!  Wonton wonton here I come!"

But I assure you that this blog post is more than wonton, GUARANTEE WORTH READING as I am going to share with you many things you may not know about CP Food!

Zoomed down to National Service Resort Country Club wearing:
Pink pants - Uniglo
Black baby doll tube and cropped cardi - so old that I forgotten where and when I bought them
Black heels - Charles and Keith
Black/White bow hair clip - China

We gathered at the Bowling Alley and had a few games.
Camwhored with Michelle, watching William suave his way and epic moment of CK and Darren Sim cat fighting lolxx...

I was the 洗龙沟Queen of the day with "ultimate" score of 39 points!!
Pulled down the score of my team members, we were to prepare BBQ for dinner as a punishment.  Don't blame me, I really don't know how to bowl lah.
But I was like "Huh??!!??  What BBQ?  Not cook wanton meh??"

Entering into this big resort bungalow, not aware of what's going to happen next, heehee....

It's PARTY time!!!

Never know CP have so much variety of products!

Michelle and I total love this giant CP logo, we hide our tummies behind it, yeah!

However, she didn't put it down.  She brought it to the kitchen, waahaahaaaa....
These 2 ladies from CP had prepared some ingredients for us.

Daen, the host giving us a briefing.

We were all attentive and good, heehee......

Love the bold colors on the CP apron!
Instead of wearing it to cook, I wore it to take pictures and......

to eat!!!
Holding with me Korean chicken in a cup.

One bite instantly took me back to Shinchon Street where I had my first try of Korean's chicken street food in winter.  I really don't know how to describe this, cos' delicious will be a understatement.
Nom-ing the Spicy Flavour Korean Chicken, yum yum....

You gotta grab a cup of Korean Chicken from:
Snax - JEM Basement 1-K3 (open in early June)

Other items available at Snax: Crispy Soft Shell Shrimp, chicken and seafood skewers, value meals with fragrant fried rice or fries ^^

I eat Korean Chicken but never "eat snake" hor.  Below blur pic is proof, heehee......

Everybody's busy buzzing and having a great time in kitchen!  Food Bloggers knows how to eat (who doesn't, oh gosh), take photos, write reviews and COOK!!    Wooohooo.......

Never know CP food can be BBQ until we did it!!

BBQ Pandan Chicken anyone?
I am sharing here all the BBQ recipes ok!  Love me or not?

CP Honey Wings in Pandan Leaves (Serves 5-6)

1 packet CP Honey Wings 350g (S$5.60)
1 packet Pandan leaves (about 10 strips)

1. Wrap each meat using a strip of pandan leaf & fasten using toothpicks.
2. BBQ on rack until meat is cooked.

Side note:  This is really simple but definitely a crowd pleaser BBQ item!  The aroma of pandan infused into honey wings........ omg.......... I guarantee you won't stop at one piece :P~~

Chicken Kebab with CP Glazed Teriyaki (serves 2-3)

1 packet CP Glazed Teriyaki 250g (S$4.20)
½ small red bell pepper,  ½ small green bell pepper, ½ small yellow bell pepper, cut into cubes
2 tablespoons oil
6 Bamboo skewers

1. Thread, alternately, three pieces of the chicken meat with three pieces of bell pepper on a skewer.
2.  BBQ the kebab on both sides till slightly charred look.

Side Note:  Simple to prepare, colorful presentation, cheers up a BBQ party with yummy goodness of chicken and healthy veg!

Grilled Tilapia with Pineapple Salsa (Serves 2-4)

4 CP fish fillets (S$3.60)
2 cups cubed fresh pineapple
2 green onions, chopped
1/4 cup finely chopped green pepper
¼ cup finely chopped red pepper
1/4 cup minced fresh cilantro
4 teaspoons plus 2 tablespoons lime juice, divided
1/8 teaspoon plus 1/4 teaspoon salt, divided
4 teaspoon sugar
Dash cayenne pepper
Dash herbs
1 tablespoon canola oil
1/8 teaspoon pepper

1. Wash and pat dry the fish.
2. In a small bowl, combine the pineapple, onions, green pepper, cilantro, 4 teaspoons lime
juice, 4 teaspoon sugar, 1/8 teaspoon salt and cayenne. Chill salsa until serving.
3. Combine oil and remaining lime juice; drizzle over fillets. Sprinkle with pepper, herbs,
cayenne pepper and remaining salt.
4. Lightly coat the aluminium foil with butter and wrapped fish.
5. BBQ for 20 to 30mins until fish flakes easily with a fork.
6. Sprinkle with salsa and serve.

Side Note:  We stolen some bites of the fish fillet without the salsa dressing and it was GOOD!!  So if you are lazy, the fish with the seasoning is sufficient as a delicious dish.  Non-greasy BBQ dish absolutely delectable for children, elders and everybody! The fish fillet can be pan-fried to achieve the same result too!

Grilled Fish with Chilli & Tumeric (Serves 2-4)

4 piece CP Fish Fillet (S$3.60)

1 clove garlic
3 shallots
6 dried chillies
½ teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon fish sauce
1 teaspoon or to taste, sugar
To taste, salt
2 slices of Lemon
2 tablespoons oil

1. Chop finely all the ingredients for chilli paste.
2. Pan fry the ingredients for the chilli paste until aromatic. Remove from pan and set aside.
3. Wash and pat dry the fish, then place it on a sheet of aluminium foil.
4. Cover the fish with the chilli paste on both sides then squeeze the lemon slices.
5. Wrap the aluminium & grill for about 10 mins.

Side Note:  Add more chilli if you prefer more spicy.  Love this recipe to the max!  The fish turned out to be so soft with wonderful taste of the seasoning.  I will be preparing this dish very often at home with my grill oven!

Cheese-mayo baked mussels (Serves 4-5)

12-15 piece CP green cooked mussels (S$5.95)
6 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 1/2 teaspoon lime juice
1 teaspoon chili sauce
1 teaspoon sugar
½ teaspoon finely chopped parsley
Some shredded cheese

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
2. Clean and rinse the mussels. Remove the empty halves of the shells, pat dry the halves containing
the mussels and set aside.
3. In a small bowl, combine the rest of the ingredients and blend well.
4. Lay the mussels on a tray lined with baking sheet or aluminium foil, top each mussel with about ½
tablespoon of the mayonnaise mixture.
5. Sprinkle some shredded cheese on top of the mussels.
6. Bake the mussels for 10 minutes or until the surface become golden brown.
7. Remove from the oven and serve warm.

Side note:  We only had mircowave but no oven in the bungalow, so we grilled the mussels and turned out yummy too!

After all the BBQ-ing let's have some salad!

Chicken Caesar Salad with CP Chicken Pop (Serves 3-4)

1 packet CP Chicken Pop 400g (S$4.95)
1 large Romaine Lettuce (leaves separated and chopped)
2 pieces CP Chilled Fresh Eggs (Hard Boiled, sliced)
10 pieces of Cherry Tomatoes

Parmesan Cheese (grated) 60g
5 tablespoon mayonnaise
3 tablespoon Olive Oil

1. Microwave  CP Chicken Pop for about 7 minutes or golden brown.
2. In the medium bowl, toss the lettuce and tomatoes with dressing.
3. Add in the Chicken Pop and eggs.
4. Sprinkle some cheese before serving.

We had a hearty plate of pan-fried Korean Mandoo!
Yes they are NEW CP products!

CP Korean Vegatable Mandoo S$6.90
Healthy-tasting and juicy, the Korean dumpling is a mixture of fresh vegetables within perfectly textured skin.

CP Shrimp Mandoo S$6.90
Filled with tasty shrimps, the CP Shrimp Mandoo is a savoury and irresistible Korean-style dumpling.

Now that I had been mentioning CP numerous times here, anybody knows what does CP stands for?

CP stands for
Charoen Pokphand
which means "Prosperity in Food" in Thai language!

It's found by the Jia brothers in 1921 as a small shop in Bangkok ^^

CP Food Bloggers' BBQ Party ended with fun games, "scrumptious" "delectable" "toothsome" quiz (these words are impossible to draw out and our brain juices were drained!!) and a memorable group pic.

The next day after the party, bought Charoen Pokphand Shrimp Wonton for my cravings.

They were just ....... mmmmmmmmmmmm......
