It's almost impossible to have breakfast on weekends. Most people snuggles in bed longer during weekends only. For me, I don't do 9 to 5pm job. So yeah, most of the time I sleep as long as I desire :X So let's say, if you wake up at 10am, probably won't be in time for breakfast at fast food chains which ends at 11am.
Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf serves breakfast all day! But I'm not too sure if it's only for weekends or for weekdays as well. We popped in a couple of weeks ago on a Saturday at Century Square (Tampines) around 11am. Was crowded. But not because the business was raving good, but because those "need/pretend to study hard" youngsters buy one drink, occupied one seat with their butts, another seat with their school bag, one table with laptop, another table with just ONE CUP of whatever.......... looking busy with earphones stuffed in their ears, with body language clear enough -
"DON'T LOOK AT ME.
I LIKE IT OCCUPYING 4 SEATS AND 2 TABLES ALL BY MYSELF
I LIKE IT OCCUPYING 4 SEATS AND 2 TABLES ALL BY MYSELF
AND I WON'T LEAVE TILL 4 HOURS LATER.
I PAID FOR IT OKAY!!

I mean, of course, it's none of your business whether other people gets their table or not. But if we care enough for the people around us, we can make it a better place for everybody in Singapore, which is, the place we are living in. This is a common sight in Singapore. Lots of Singaporeans behaves this way, I'm disgusted and ashamed of it.
Anyway, we were fortunate enough to find seats at the end. All breakfast sets includes drinks - choice of coffee, tea or ice-tea. We topped up, paying a little more with ~~
Left - Hot Chocolate with marshmallow Right - Hot vanilla
The hot vanilla taste exactly like hot milk, nothing like vanilla at all, nevertheless, was yummy.
Hot chocolate was the best drink in mornings ^^ absolutely taste bud pampering with marshmallow.

4pcs of bread was too much, but they were warm and soft, heehee......
Jam and butter was given but didn't take pics.
I mean they were those usual cube packaging, you all know how they looks like.
Salad was awesome!
Nay for the egg, the texture was wrong.
I think they simply just cook the egg by microwave, therefore some portions were hard and dry.
I knew it cos' I'm guilty of doing the same at home :X

Scramble egg was tasteless, need to sprinkle salt & pepper.
Other than that, this was perfect which last me till dinner time.
Brek "O" Day Set @S$8.50
Previously, their breakfast sets didn't come with salad. This add-on makes Coffee Beans breakfast different from other fast food chains.
They had also change their bread which taste better than before.
Overall, nice experience and we left happily patting our tummies.
Of course those youngsters were still occupying space there lolxx.....

maybe next time you can go to the outlet at Tampines 1 instead. It's bigger and less crowded..
